Another MUNI Light Rail Crash on the Streets of San Francisco

At 5pm today, returning from the Fleetweek display in San Francisco Bay, we came across another incident where a car tried to pit itself against a train and lost.














At the junction of Brannan and Embarcadero, a jeep had tried to take a left, but decided to do it against a red light, and was hit by an N-Judah MUNI streetcar. I counted a back up of at least nine trains behind the crash - the opposite tracks were not being used to bypass the crash, and it appears that MUNI was shut down.
